Welcome! In the second edition of Connect to Country, a digital publication presented by Tourism Australia and Discover Aboriginal Experiences, we journey through the stories behind the experiences.

The world's oldest living cultures are rich in traditions and stories that share past and present perspectives. Storytelling has never been more valuable than it is today as we look to Aboriginal culture to teach us how to learn from and connect to Country. From spectacularly sparkling coastlines to sunburnt endless plains; from rainforests and rugged mountain ranges to islands and cityscapes; the Indigenous cultures dotted across this great land provides an opportunity for domestic and international travellers to connect to Country unlike anywhere else in the world. But more than that, it’s the stories behind these experiences that really shine the spotlight. In this edition, we explore the stories behind the art, festivals, islands, and romantic stays, plus get a first-hand perspective from the storytellers who guide us when we walk on Country.
